Welcome to my website.
My visual interests are wide ranging. Exploring the use of space, experimenting with colour, the lure of the mythic, the excitement of the human face and form have concerned me for the last several years.
I work in a large open area urban studio with seven other artists. We share ideas and concerns as well as space, and appreciate and critique one another's works.
Most recently I have given a lot of attention to the faces which intrigue me. Each sitter is unique and brings a different dynamic to the creative dialogue.
I’m beginning to experiment again lately with colour and abstraction, both in the face images and with still life subjects.
